Persuasive Essay-My Stand on Abortion Fatty cheeks, fat hands and feet, and the cutest face is what I see when I look at a baby. In my opinion babies are the most gorgeous things on earth. Every time I see one I tell myself, I cant wait to have one of my own someday. So, in saying all of this, why would anyone want to give up the joy of having a baby in their arms? Why would anyone have an abortion? They are killing an innocent child who could have become an amazing person and the mother will have many difficulties in her future. The number one thing that I can’t get over is killing the baby. Yes, some people may believe that at conception it is not a baby but that is not true. â€Å"And from the moment of conception, the being that begins†¦show more content†¦The psychological effects to me is worse than the physical pain. Knowing that your baby died in your stomach because you chose to get rid of it, must be extraordinarily hard. Within 8 weeks after their abortion, 55% expressed guilt†¦Ã¢â‚¬  (David Reardon). Why would any women want to put herself or anyone in that position? It’s immensely upsetting to know that some people are ok with this. Others say that abortion is ok because it is the women’s body and she can do as she wants. As a woman myself, I understand that a woman can do as she pleases with her body but I don’t think she has any right to kill. I acknowledge that women haven’t always had their rights in the U.S. but just because you have them now doesn’t make it right to end a child’s life. While I’m on the topic of women’s right, I don’t grasp the need to march about it. Why would you go marching around telling people you want the right to kill kids and that you’re a woman? There are women all around the world who pray every single day to have their children back because the government took them away from them. There are starving families all around the world and there are some countries where women have no rights.
